SUMMER REVIEW

Dynamic drumming, graceful dancing & beautiful singing
Edun Ara – bloco de carnaval
11th to 13th July at the Rhythms of the World festival in Hitchin
80 drummers and 46 dancers attended a weekend of workshops culminating in yet another spectacular and colourful parade and stage performance. This year saw the addition of a choir to bring the elements of percussion, song & dance together. This year’s project was in honour of the Yoruba Goddess Yemaya (Cuba) or Iemanja (Brazil).
a BIG thank-you to all of you who took part or helped us in any way
